ICAI Announces Major Changes in CA Exam System – CA Final to be Held Thrice a Year

Key Announcement
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has made a historic decision to conduct the CA Final exam three times a year instead of twice. This move aims to align with global best practices and provide students with more opportunities to clear their exams.
Previously, CA Final exams were held in May and November, but from now on, they will be conducted in:
✅ January
✅ May
✅ September
This change ensures that all three levels of the CA exam—Foundation, Intermediate, and Final—are held three times a year, giving students equal opportunities at every stage.
Changes in Post Qualification Course in Information Systems Audit
The Assessment Test for the Post Qualification Course in Information Systems Audit (earlier held in June and December) will now be conducted three times a year:
✅ February
✅ June
✅ October
This change allows ICAI members to appear for the exam at more convenient intervals.
